Baseball Game Preview: Cabrillo Conquistadores vs. Mission College Prep Royals

For the second straight game, Cabrillo will face off against Mission College Prep. The Conquistadores will square off against the Royals at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Cabrillo's hitters haven't had much luck over their past three games, but Friday's match will give them a chance to turn things around.

Cabrillo lost 13-1 to Mission College Prep on Wednesday.

For Mission College Prep's part, they got a massive performance out of Brayden Mott, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI Mott has posted since back in April of 2024. Ty Bernal was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one double.

Mission College Prep always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .595. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Mission College Prep has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Cabrillo, they now have a losing record of 10-11.
