Maria Vink Game Report: vs De Soto

Ottawa came out on top against De Soto on Thursday thanks in part to Maria Vink's efforts. Vink turned in nothing short of a gem, pitching seven innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off eight hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Vink and Ottawa will square off against Eudora at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cyclones have some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since April of 2021, but a win here would be a good start.
