Bigelow waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They were the clear victor by a 21-3 margin over the White County Central Bears. The Panthers not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 13th.
Briley Starks made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits (and not a single walk). The dominant performance also gave her a new career-low in walks (zero). She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Bryn Weaver was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with four runs, one triple, and one RBI. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Mattie Langston, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
