Volleyball Recap: O'connor Takes Down Ranked Pinnacle + How To Watch

O'Connor faced Pinnacle in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Eagles blew past the Pioneers 3-0. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Pioneers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

O'Connor not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Pinnacle between 16 and 18 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-18, 25-16.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead O'Connor to victory, but perhaps none more so than Anabelle Cummings, who had ten digs and three aces. What's more, Cummings posted five assists, the most she's had over her last six contests.

O'Connor's record is now 15-4. As for Pinnacle, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-6.

Coming up, O'Connor will challenge Centennial at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Pinnacle, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Liberty at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th.
