Volleyball Game Preview: Canyon Lake Hawks vs. Long Creek Dragons

The Canyon Lake Hawks will venture away from home to take on the Long Creek Dragons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Canyon Lake is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Canyon Lake lost 3-0 to Fredericksburg on Friday.

Canyon Lake was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Long Creek came up short against Wimberley on Friday, falling 3-0.

Long Creek took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-14, 25-19.

Long Creek's loss dropped their record down to 8-21. As for Canyon Lake, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-14.

Everything went Canyon Lake's way against Long Creek in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as Canyon Lake made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hawks since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
