Baseball Recap: Logansport Berries vs. Oak Hill Golden Eagles
Logansport extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 14-12 in the process. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 13-12 heartbreaker at the hands of the Oak Hill Golden Eagles. The Berries were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Golden Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.
Bryson Herr was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two RBI and one run. Deagan Kitchel was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs.
As for Oak Hill, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for they considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Logansport will head out to face off against Lafayette Central Catholic at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Oak Hill, they will venture away from home to take on Tipton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
