Basketball Recap: Motivation Drops Highest Score of Season Against Parkway Center City

Motivation scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 66-65 to the Parkway Center City Bulldogs. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (62), the Jaguars still had to take the loss.

When it comes to explaining why Motivation lost, don't look at Chace White. Despite the final result, he posted 31 points. White's afternoon made it nine games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Divevea Smith, who earned 13 points.

The loss snapped Motivation's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-6-1 record. As for Parkway Center City, their win bumped their record up to 2-7.

Motivation will head out to square off against Mariana Bracetti Academy at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Parkway Center City, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against High School of the Future at 3:15 p.m. High School of the Future is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.8 points per game this season.
