Volleyball Recap: Chesterton Beats Brownsburg for Their Third Straight Win

Chesterton extended their winning streak to three on Saturday, bumping them up to 3-0. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Brownsburg Bulldogs. This was payback for the Trojans, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Among those leading the charge was Delaney Barrett, who had nine digs and four aces. Those nine digs gave her a new career-high.

Having lost for the first time this season, Brownsburg fell to 2-1. The loss put an end to their undefeated start to the season.

Despite the loss, Brownsburg still got an impressive performance from Kate Vrabel, who had 16 digs and two aces.

Chesterton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Crown Point on the 16th. As for Brownsburg, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Illiana Christian on the 16th.
