Chesterton faced Brownsburg in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Trojans narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Bulldogs 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Trojans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Chesterton found their leader in sophomore Delaney Barrett, who had nine digs and four aces.

Despite the loss, Brownsburg still got an impressive performance from Kate Vrabel, who had 16 digs and two aces.

Chesterton's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Brownsburg, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Chesterton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Crown Point on the 16th. As for Brownsburg, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Illiana Christian on the 16th.
