While losing is never fun, Sandhills can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 298th in South Carolina, while Curtis Baptist is ranked 114th in Georgia).
Curtis Baptist typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Ragin Prep Christian Academy proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Crusaders by a score of 71-63. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Ragin Prep Christian Academy.
Sandhills bumped their record down to 0-6 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.3 points per game. As for Ragin Prep Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4.
Sandhills was dealt a bruising 62-29 defeat at the hands of Ragin Prep Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. Can Sandhills avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
