Baseball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Pembroke Hill's 15th in Last 18 Outings

Pembroke Hill gave up the first runs on Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top against the Butler Bears by a score of 9-7 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).

Brendan Sotta and Austin Soulis did most of the damage at the plate: Sotta went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run, while Soulis got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base. Those three runs gave Soulis a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Miles Washington, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Pembroke Hill has been performing well recently as they've won 15 of their last 18 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Butler, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-16.
