Helena had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bessemer City Tigers. Given the Huskies' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 35th, while the Tigers are ranked 98th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Helena's record now sits at 4-1-1. As for Bessemer City, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Helena will head out to face off against Fort Payne at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up.
