Football Recap: Valhalla Comes Up Short

Valhalla was the 34-0 winner over Tuckahoe when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Vikings took a 28-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers on Saturday. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tuckahoe had a senior duo take command as Connor Brice rushed for 114 yards and one touchdown on only 11 carries and Declan Connolly rushed for 112 yards and a pair of TDs. Those 114 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Brice.

Valhalla now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Tuckahoe, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Valhalla is set to face off against their familiar foe Edgemont at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Tuckahoe will square off against rival Dobbs Ferry at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
