Baseball Recap: Woodlake Tigers vs. Orange Cove Titans
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Woodlake had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They walked away with a 6-1 win over the Orange Cove Titans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Woodlake.
Ismael Pena was excellent, scoring a run while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Beck Holzm, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Woodlake is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season. As for Orange Cove, their loss dropped their record down to 18-9.
