Basketball Recap: McKinney Christian Academy Comes Up Short

McKinney Christian Academy lost against Bishop Gorman back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The McKinney Christian Academy Mustangs were outmatched by the Bishop Gorman Crusaders and fell 59-30.

Bishop Gorman found their leader in sophomore Gianna Mahfood, who went 7 of 13 en route to 20 points and seven steals. Mahfood has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 15 times she's played. Alexa Remigio was another key player, putting up six points and three steals.

McKinney Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-22. As for Bishop Gorman, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.

McKinney Christian Academy has already played their next contest (against All Saints Episcopal), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Bishop Gorman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
