The Westminster Christian Warriors will square off against the True North Classical Academy Titans at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Westminster Christian's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They breezed past Gateway Charter to the tune of 42-0. Considering the Warriors have won eight games by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Westminster Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gianni Dalessio, who threw for 206 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 86.7% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave Dalessio a new career-high in passer rating (166). Britton Bayag was Dalessio's top target, picking up 28 receiving yards and one TD, while also punching in one score on the ground.
Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 16 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Kingston Henry, who ran a punt back for a touchdown. Another bright spot was a kickoff return touchdown from Bayag.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Westminster Christian's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Austin De Moya, Markus Ruiz, and Dominic Brown, who each picked up one sack apiece. De Moya was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making seven total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Meanwhile, True North Classical Academy waltzed into their matchup on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They took down the Explorers 34-15. Given the Titans' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 48th, while the Explorers are ranked 130th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Westminster Christian better focus on containing Cecil Smith and Zachary Katz as the pair were huge in True North Classical Academy's win. Smith gained 200 total yards, while Katz threw for 170 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
True North Classical Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Camaul King, George Harris, and Keyon Smith picked up one apiece. Another thorn in Columbus' side was Ricky Carter, who made 13 total tackles (3.0 for loss).
Westminster Christian's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for True North Classical Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.
Westminster Christian was dealt a bruising 35-0 loss at the hands of True North Classical Academy in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Katz, who threw for 285 yards and two TDs while completing 78.3% of his passes, and also punched in a pair of scores on the ground. Now that the Warriors know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
