Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Owen Gorham and Ryder Gorham Lead Mendon to Victory

Mendon won the last time they faced Burr Oak and things went their way on Friday too. The Mendon Hornets walked away with a 61-50 win over the Burr Oak Bobcats. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hornets.

Leading Mendon to victory were Ryder Gorham and Owen Gorham. Ryder went 8-for-12 on his way to 25 points, while Owen dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten boards. Ryder is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played. James Lux was another key player, putting up five points.

Burr Oak lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Austin Cole, who went 7-for-16 to rack up 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Braxton Boyles, who posted eight points and seven rebounds.
