Softball Recap: Cardinal Takes a Loss

After flying high against Davis County on Tuesday, Cardinal came back down to earth. The Comets came up short against the Washington Demons on Wednesday, falling 10-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Comets have suffered since June 1, 2024.

Cardinal's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Washington, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Demons beat Cardinal by a score of 8-1 later that day.
