Round Lake is 7-1 against North Chicago since September of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Panthers will challenge the Warhawks at 6:00 p.m. Round Lake will be strutting in after a victory while North Chicago will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with six defeats in a row, Round Lake turned things around against Alden-Hebron on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Green Giants.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Round Lake got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 15-25, 25-14.

Meanwhile, North Chicago came up short against Islamic Foundation on Tuesday and fell 2-0.

North Chicago was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-22.

Round Lake's victory bumped their record up to 2-22. As for North Chicago, their loss dropped their record down to 0-15.

Round Lake beat North Chicago 2-0 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
