Basketball Recap: Jules Etue's Big Game Can't Quite Lead West Boca Raton over Olympic Heights

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact West Boca Raton can now relate to. They fell 44-37 to the Olympic Heights Lions on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Bulls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 509th, while the Lions are ranked 153rd).

West Boca Raton lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jules Etue, who posted eight points along with six assists and six boards. Etue is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last nine games she's played. Another player making a difference was Brianna Morgan, who went 6 of 13 en route to 12 points.

West Boca Raton is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18. As for Olympic Heights, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-1.
