Football Recap: Peters Township Falls Short of Bishop Mcdevitt in the Playoffs + How To Watch

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Peters Township couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Bishop McDevitt Crusaders by a score of 31-28 on Saturday. The loss was the Indians' first of the season.

Bishop McDevitt's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nazir Jones-Davis, who rushed for 118 yards and one touchdown. Sebastian Williams was another key player, having thrown for 250 yards and two touchdowns.

Peters Township's defeat dropped their record down to 13-1. As for Bishop McDevitt, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-2.

Peters Township does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bishop McDevitt, they will challenge Roman Catholic on Friday. The Crusaders will need to watch out since the Cahillite have now posted at least 31 points in their last five games.
