Basketball Recap: Camp Pugh's Big Game Can't Quite Lead First Baptist over Brook Hill

First Baptist suffered their biggest defeat since December 31, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against the Brook Hill Guard, falling 68-45. The Saints were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-17.

First Baptist's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Camp Pugh, who posted eight points and six boards. Another player making a difference was George Anagnostis, who earned seven points.

First Baptist suffered their first road defeat, dropping their record down to 20-3. As for Brook Hill, their win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 27-5.

As of now, neither First Baptist nor Brook Hill have any future games scheduled.
