Recap: Legacy Prep Christian Academy Lions vs. Bay Area Christian Broncos
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cypress Christian, The Legacy Prep Christian Academy Lions were happy to have found some success on Friday. They skirted past Bay Area Christian 17-14. For Legacy Prep Christian Academy, this counts as revenge for the 21-13 defeat Bay Area Christian walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2022.
Legacy Prep Christian Academy had a senior duo take command as Wyatt Francis rushed for eight yards and a touchdown and Kyle Prazak picked up 133 receiving yards and a touchdown. Prazak's longest reception was for an incredible 73 yards. Nathan Timm did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 97 receiving yards.
Legacy Prep Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Bay Area Christian, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Legacy Prep Christian Academy will take on Brentwood Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Brentwood Christian is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. As for Bay Area Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Cypress Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cypress Christian will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.
