Basketball Game Preview: Stratford Spartans vs. White House Blue Devils

The Stratford Spartans will venture away from home to face off against the White House Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Stratford is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against McGavock on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Stratford took a blow against McGavock, falling 65-34. The Spartans have struggled against the Raiders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

The losing side was boosted by Hannah Johnson, who posted 19 points. That was a full 55.9% of Stratford's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Meanwhile, White House didn't have too much trouble with White House-Heritage on Tuesday as they won 42-27. The contest marked the Blue Devils' most dominant win of the season so far.

White House's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Stratford, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 3-6.
