Softball Recap: Whippany Park Wildcats vs. Madison Dodgers

Whippany Park barely beat Madison the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Dodgers with a sharp 12-2 win on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Kiera Swartz made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. Swartz was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Julia Beers was incredible, going 3-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Jaeden Antonelli was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-5.
