After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matchups, Nelson finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They came up short against the Gresham Gophers, falling 10-0. Nelson's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Nelson saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adalynn Hazel, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Nelson's defeat dropped their record down to 15-13. As for Gresham, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-15.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Nelson is set to take on their familiar foe Barlow at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Gresham will challenge rival Sandy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
