Basketball Recap: Concord Comes Up Short

Concord was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 57-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Encinal Jets. If the Bears were looking for revenge after losing 74-50 to the Jets when the teams met back in December of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Concord's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Encinal, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Concord will venture away from home to square off against Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Encinal, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Envision Academy at 6:30 p.m. on December 3.
