Basketball Recap: Smidt Tech Takes a Loss

After flying high against Alliance Bloomfield last Friday, Smidt Tech came back down to earth. The Smidt Tech Grey Wolves took a 58-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus Tigers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Grey Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 72-31 back in December of 2024.

Smidt Tech dropped their record down to 2-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Smidt Tech will face off against Rise Kohyang at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus has already played their next contest (against The School of Los Angeles), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
