Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Alhambra). They pulled ahead with a 19-18 photo finish over the Ramona Convent Tigers on Wednesday.

Despite the loss, Ramona Convent still got an impressive performance from Chloe Gonzalez, who rushed for 95 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries, and also threw for 142 yards and one TD while completing 81% of her passes.

Alhambra's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Ramona Convent, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alhambra will welcome San Marino at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Ramona Convent, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Burroughs at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
