Football Recap: St. John's Islanders vs. Baptist Hill Bobcats
Friday just wasn't the day for St. John's offense. They were beaten by the Baptist Hill Bobcats 54-0 on Friday. The Islanders were not able to make up for their loss to the Bobcats from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.
Baptist Hill's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from EK Thompson, who rushed for 139 yards and two scores on only nine carries. Those 139 rushing yards gave Thompson a new career-high. Another receiver making a difference was Kilyn Gordon, who gained 126 total yards and two touchdowns.
