Bridge City had won two straight games and Jensyn Yeaman did her part to make it three on Friday. The Cardinals came out on top against the Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls by a score of 2-0 for which the team can thank Yeaman, who had three digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Bridge City's win bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Anderson-Shiro, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.

Bridge City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Woodville on the 22nd. As for Anderson-Shiro, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Huntington on the 22nd.
