After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wakeland, Creekview was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against The Colony Cougars as they made off with an 8-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won ten matches by seven runs or more so far this season.
Kelis Lee made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, MacKenzie Martin was incredible, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Kaelani Rogers, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
