Basketball Recap: Redford Union Makes It Five in a Row on the Road

Redford Union won the last time they faced Romulus and things went their way on Friday too. The Redford Union Panthers walked away with a 51-41 win over the Romulus Eagles. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 172nd, while the Eagles are ranked 425th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Redford Union's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.4 points over those games. As for Romulus, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-11.
