Gulf came out on top against Anclote on Friday thanks in part to John Michael Carpenter's efforts. Carpenter picked up 30 receiving yards and two touchdowns, which was good enough to set a new career-high in receiving touchdowns.

Carpenter and Gulf will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Zephyrhills at 7:30 p.m. Carpenter will face off against Kingston McCullough, the Bulldogs' star receiver.
