Football Recap: Giltner Comes Up Short

Giltner lost against Blue Hill back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hornets were outmatched by the Bobcats and fell 82-6.

Brody Rudy threw for 46 yards and one touchdown. Braxton Cady-Wheeler was his top target, picking up 57 receiving yards and one TD.

Blue Hill got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kaden L'Heureux out in front who rushed for 113 yards and three scores on only five carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Canterberry, who rushed for 84 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries.

Giltner's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Blue Hill, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Giltner and Blue Hill will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Hornets will challenge rival Deshler at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Blue Hill is set to face off against their familiar foe Elm Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
