Volleyball Recap: Cornell Takes a Loss

Cornell was the 2-0 winner over Frederic when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Chiefs fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Cornell's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Frederic, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-7.

Looking ahead, Cornell will take on Birchwood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Frederic, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against South Shore on the 20th.
