Basketball Recap: Eau Claire Wins Going Away Against Chester

Eau Claire won the last time they faced Chester and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eau Claire Shamrocks took down the Chester Cyclones 39-24. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Shamrocks.

Eau Claire had a senior duo take command as Destinee Tiller posted 18 points and four steals and Syteria Bethel dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 boards. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Tiller has scored at least a third of Eau Claire's points.

Eau Claire is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Chester, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season.

Eau Claire will head out to face off against Fairfield Central at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fairfield Central will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Eau Claire surely won't give up without a fight. As for Chester, they will host Mid-Carolina at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
