Softball Recap: Porter Takes a Loss

Porter had taken Splendora down for four straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. The Spartans fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1. The Spartans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 8-6.

Porter dropped their record down to 12-12 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Splendora, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-12.

Coincidentally, Porter and Splendora will both be playing Kingwood Park the next time they take the field. The Spartans will head out to face the Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wildcats will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
