Mount Miguel's tournament run continued when they took on Vincent Memorial on Thursday. The Matadors were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Scots. The contest marked the Matadors' most dominant win of the season so far.

Mike Yancy was a standout: he scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-2. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Mekhi Yancy was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-1.

The victory made it two in a row for Mount Miguel and bumps their season record up to 6-7. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 runs in those games.
