Soccer Recap: Jesuit Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Jesuit was not quite Rocklin's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Rocklin Thunder by a score of 1-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Marauders haven't been shut out since back in December of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Jesuit and nudges their season record down to 3-4-5. As for Rocklin, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-4-2.

Jesuit will host Folsom at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Jesuit is facing Folsom at the right time seeing as Folsom is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Rocklin, they are taking a road trip to square off against Del Oro at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rocklin's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
