Jessica Ortiz put up the most hits she's had since back in February on Tuesday. She scored three runs while going 3-for-3. Considering she played a big game the last time she faced off against South Dade back in February, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock.

Ortiz's strong effort led Palmetto over South Dade and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
