Basketball Recap: Murtaugh Drops Season-High Score on Vision

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Murtaugh). They came out on top against Vision on Friday by a score of 61-25 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Red Devils considering their 25-point performance the game before.

Despite the loss, Vision still got an impressive performance from Raelynn Nickel, who posted ten points and three steals. Nickel is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 21 games she's played dating back to last season.

Murtaugh now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Vision, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Murtaugh didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 64-44 victory against Mackay on the 6th. As for Vision, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 44-18 loss against Raft River on the 7th.
