Football Game Preview: Auburn Eagles vs. Northwood Panthers + How To Watch

The Auburn Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Northwood Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Auburn has given up an average of 31.5 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Auburn is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Giles just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They were dealt a 59-27 defeat at the hands of the Spartans. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-7.

Auburn might have lost, but man, Isayah Hamann was a machine: he rushed for 142 yards and one TD on only 14 carries, and also picked up 64 receiving yards and one touchdown. The Eagles also got help from Ethan Brunk, who showed off his sure hands for 96 receiving yards.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northwood). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Castlewood 49-6. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Auburn's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Northwood, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
