After a string of seven wins, Halifax's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were beaten by the Steelton-Highspire Steamrollers 52-13. Having soared to a lofty 35 points in the game before, the Wildcats couldn't push the score so high this time.

Halifax's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Steelton-Highspire, their victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-2.

Halifax does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Steelton-Highspire, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 50-22 win against Chestnut Ridge on the 14th.
