Soccer Recap: Foard's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Their defense stepped up to hand the North Lincoln Knights a 4-0 shutout on Thursday. Considering Foard's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

With the victory, Foard broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-7. As for North Lincoln, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-8-2.

Foard has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against West Iredell on the 14th. As for North Lincoln, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lincoln Charter at 6:00 p.m. on the 25th.
