After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bigfork, Polson was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Libby Loggers by a score of 49-36. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Loggers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Polson's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Samantha Rensvold, who posted 14 points and three steals. That's the most steals Rensvold has posted since back in January of 2024. Rylee Taylor-Jefferson was another key player, putting up 16 points.

The win got Polson back to even at 5-5. As for Libby, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Polson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-39 defeat against Columbia Falls on the 30th. As for Libby, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 33-30 loss against Whitefish on the 28th.
