Baseball Recap: Scranton Takes a Loss

Scranton lost to Scranton Prep back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Knights took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cavaliers. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Scranton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Parker Woznick, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Scranton's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Scranton Prep, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-5.

Scranton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-3 victory against North Pocono on the 16th. As for Scranton Prep, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-2 defeat against Pocono Mountain East on the 15th.
