Football Game Preview: Bluff Dale Bobcats vs. Grace Classical Christian Academy Gryphons

The Bluff Dale Bobcats will head out on the road to face off against the Grace Classical Christian Academy Gryphons at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bluff Dale knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Grace Classical Christian Academy likes a good challenge.

Bluff Dale is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed past Brookesmith to the tune of 69-6 on Thursday. With the Bobcats ahead 69-6 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Bluff Dale got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kaden Wentworth out in front who rushed for 104 yards and three TDs on only five carries. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Wentworth a new career-high. Alex Saucedo was another key player, gaining 82 total yards and four touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Grace Classical Christian Academy suffered their biggest loss since October 18, 2024 on Friday. They were beaten by Perrin-Whitt 50-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Gryphons were not able to get on the board.

Bluff Dale's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Grace Classical Christian Academy, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Everything came up roses for Bluff Dale against Grace Classical Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 50-18 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcats since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
