Basketball Recap: Potts Camp Comes Up Short

Potts Camp was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 76-33 loss at the hands of the Holly Springs Hawks. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Potts Camp's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Holly Springs, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-6.

Potts Camp has already played their next game, a 75-36 defeat against Ripley on the 7th. As for Holly Springs, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 69-66 loss against Independence on the 10th.
