Kenton kept a clean sheet against Bluffton on Thursday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Pirates 1-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Kenton's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 96th, while Bluffton are ranked 316th).

Kenton's one-goal win came courtesy of Micah Bowman, who's now up to five this season.

The win made it two in a row for Kenton and bumps their season record up to 7-0-1. As for Bluffton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6-2.

Kenton didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 2-2 draw against Bath on the 15th. As for Bluffton, they are taking a road trip to challenge Lexington at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
